OLINK AND BETHYL SIGN DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT FOR THE US MARKET
Uppsala, Sweden, November 21, 2011 - Olink Bioscience, a Sweden based biotechnology company focused on
innovative protein detection technologies, has entered into a distribution
agreement with Bethyl Laboratories, Inc. Together with Bethyl Olink Bioscience
will continue to expand the distribution of the Duolink® product line in the US
market.
OLINK APPOINTS NEW CEO AND EXPANDS BOARD OF
DIRECTORS

Sweden, 14 September 2011 – Dr. Simon Fredriksson, Executive Vice President and
Chief Scientific Officer of Olink AB (Olink) has today been promoted to
President and CEO of Olink. Simon Fredriksson is taking over from Björn Ekström
who has been managing the company since its inception in 2004. At the same time
new members of the Board of Directors have been appointed. These changes follow
the purchase by Nexttobe AB (nxt2b) of a significant part of the shares in
Olink as announced last week, and it is a first step to accelerate the
development of Olink.

NXT2B BECOMES A MAJOR SHAREHOLDER IN OLINK AB
Uppsala,
Sweden, 29 August 2011 - nxt2b (Nexttobe AB) an investment company owned by Bengt Ågerup, has today signed an
agreement with a group of shareholders in Olink AB to purchase 49% of the
outstanding shares in the company. The intention is to accelerate the growth
and value creation of the company by injecting knowledge, experience and
financial strength to complement Olink’s unique product and technology
position. Financial details of the transaction are not disclosed.

2011 - Olink Bioscience launches a new product, Proseek™,
today. Proseek
is a user friendly open assay development reagent kit for the detection and
quantification of proteins in serum or plasma samples. It offers the same level
of performance as ELISA, but uses extremely low sample volumes; only1 µl is
required for each reaction thus enabling the scientist to study precious bio-banked
materials and plasma from small laboratory animals. The kit allows researchers
to combine their antibodies with Proseek to conveniently set up their own specific
assays.

OLINK BIOSCIENCE INTRODUCES ITS NEW PLASMA BIOMARKER DISCOVERY SERVICE

offers a new research service, Plasma Biomarker Discovery Service.
Using the multiplexed PLA® immunoassay platform, up to 74 potential
cancer biomarkers are analyzed with high sensitivity in precious
biobanked plasma samples, in no more than 2 µl of sample. The Plasma
Biomarker Discovery Service will help scientists in industry and
academia to identify novel biomarkers and contribute to the

- Olink Bioscience expands its product portfolio by launching three new
products, the Duolink® II reagent kit, Duolink® ImageTool, and Duolink®
II Probemaker. The original Duolink product line, introduced on the
market in 2007, has been well received by academic labs and pharma

native protein-protein interactions and low abundant proteins in fixed
cells and tissues. The new, updated version of the Duolink kit offers

OLINK BIOSCIENCE AND OLINK GENOMICS IN A PROJECT AIMED TO IMPROVE CANCER TREATMENT
Uppsala, Sweden, September 14, 2009 – Olink Bioscience
and its sister company Olink Genomics is participating in the project
“Companion Diagnostics Initiative” which is financed by Vinnova and aims
to develop improved cancer diagnostics to increase survival rate of
patients with colorectal cancer. The project is coordinated by Professor
Mats Nilsson at the Department of Genetics and Pathology and involves
several clinical and pre-clinical research groups at Uppsala University.

PLA™ probes. The Duolink anti-Hapten product family contains PLA probes

detection of protein-protein interactions, protein modifications and
proteins in fixed cells and tissue sections.

distributorship agreement appointing Abnova distributor for the Duolink®
in situ PLA™ product line in the USA. This agreement is an expansion of
a previous co-marketing/co-development agreement under which the
companies have been collaborating on the validation of hundreds of
target-specific assays for studies of protein phosphorylation and
protein interactions based on primary antibodies from Abnova and the
Duolink product line from Olink Biosceince.

OLINK BIOSCIENCE INTRODUCES A NEW WAY TO VISUALIZE PROTEINS IN TISSUE
Uppsala, Sweden, May 5, 2009 – Olink Bioscience
launches today a new product for detection of proteins, protein
interactions and modifications in tissue samples. For the first time,
results from a Duolink®assay can be analyzed and visualized
with brightfield microscopy, adding a new feature to the diversity of
the Duolink product family. Now, the morphology of tissue can be studied
in great detail, in combination with quantification of proteins,
protein complexes and protein modifications.
The new product, Duolink Detection Kit HRP/NovaRED generates discrete
spots that each represents individual proteins or protein events. The
spots can be counted by automated software, thereby bringing objectivity
to investigations which have previously relied on subjective
evaluation.

Olink Bioscience and Abnova Corporation today announce a co-development
and co-marketing agreement. This collaboration will address the unmet
need for high-performance assays for studies of protein phosphorylation
and protein interactions by combining Abnova´s growing collection of
+30,000 antibodies with the Duolink® product line from Olink Bioscience.
Hundreds of target-specific assays will be jointly marketed by the two

THE PROACTIVE CONSORTIUM GRANTED € 3M- TO DEVELOP A UNIQUE HIGH THROUGHPUT PLASMA BIOMARKER RESEARCH PLATFORM
Uppsala, Sweden, February 16, 2009. A new consortium has been formed to build a high
throughput plasma biomarker research infrastructure supported by a € 3M
grant as a part of the European Commission 7th framework programme
(FP7). The three year project, coordinated by Olink Bioscience (Uppsala,
Sweden), will develop methods and reagents for highly multiplexed
proximity ligation assays for protein detection, along with tailored
statistics and data management tools. The research infrastructure will
be implemented in a series of pilot biomarker projects aiming to improve
colorectal cancer detection in minute blood samples.

READNA CONSORTIUM TO ACCELERATE DEVELOPMENT OF DNA/NUCLEIC ACID ANALYSIS TECHNOLOGIES
Uppsala, Sweden, December 3rd 2008, A new consortium was launched today
to further the development of new technologies for the analysis of DNA
and other nucleic acids. The REvolutionary Approaches and Devices for
Nucleic Acid analysis (READNA) consortium includes projects to
accelerate new breakthrough DNA sequencing technologies and methods to
enhance existing analysis methods. The consortium includes 16 European
partners from both academia and industry, and launches with a €12m grant
via the European Commission's seventh Framework Programme (FP71).
