Driving next-generation medicine discovery with proteogenomics

Driving next-generation medicine discovery: Exposing causal biomarker–disease relationships using proteogenomics

Speakers: Anders Mälarstig, Ph.D. (Pfizer & Karolinska Institute, Stockholm); Erin Macdonald-Dunlop, M.Sc. (University of Edinburgh); Xia Shen, Ph.D. (University of Edinburgh).

The speakers in this webinar are part of the SCALLOP consortium, a collaborative framework for the discovery and follow-up of genetic associations with proteins. They discussed how enabling technologies are allowing proteogenomic studies to be performed on a scale not previously possible, and provided examples of such studies, including one assessing links between angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) expression and COVID-19.
