Macrophage receptor MARCO (MARCO)

Links to databases

MARCO is a pattern recognition receptor protein and a member of the class A scavenger receptor family. It forms part of the innate antimicrobial immune system and binds Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria via a scavenger receptor cysteine-rich (SRCR) domain.
